The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret group.
The adventure centers on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Additional Material
Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
